Whether a hurricane takes a home, a wildfire burns it down or an earthquake tears it apart; one thing is for sure, we need a better solution. Homes these days are not built to withstand what nature has unleashed more than 250 times in the last 40 years. Homeowners and Builders all suffer from these events. However, more and more the market is shifting toward constructions with higher performances, faster build up and lower impact on the environment.

What are some of the effects this has in the economy? Well, besides the terrible life losses every year, thousands lose their homes never to recover them. The entire local economy stops in order to  perform proper rescue missions, demolitions, debri clean up and rebuild all that was lost. Electric services are usually the first to go and takes time to get back on line. Construction companies experience an unreachable demand with skyrocketing prices in both materials and labor costs.
